The Spro Softbait Pike Stinger is a purpose-built stinger rig for targeting pike with soft plastic lures. This pack contains 2 stinger hooks in size 2 with an 8 cm transport length, ready to pair with your favourite shad or paddle tail.
The 7x7 steel wire (Stahlvorfach) construction is supple yet cut-resistant, standing up to the razor-sharp teeth of pike without fraying or kinking. A breaking strength of 12 kg (26 lbs) gives you the backbone to control hard-fighting fish without compromise.
The loop slips over the jig head eye while the treble hook is tucked into the flank of the soft bait. A stinger pin (Stingerdorn) locks the wire at the exact position you choose along the lure body. On the strike, the stinger separates cleanly from the soft plastic so the fish can be played without the lure interfering – maximising hook-hold in the hard, bony pike jaw.
All variants share the 12 kg / 26 lbs steel-wire construction and come in packs of 2. Select by treble hook size and the resulting transport length to match your soft bait dimensions.
