The Salmo Freediver is a purpose-built floating wobbler (crankbait) designed to hunt pike, perch, zander, and other predators in the depths where they feed. At 9 cm and 12 g in the Purple Rain colour, it balances castability with a wide-ranging dive profile.

Retrieve speed dictates how deep the Freediver goes — casting from the bank puts it down to 4 m, while trolling from a boat pushes it all the way to 9 m. The polycarbonate diving lip is engineered for consistent action across that entire range, making it equally effective for shore anglers targeting structure and boat anglers working deeper channels.

Long-Cast System and Built-In Rattle

The integrated Long Cast weight-transfer system shifts mass rearward during the cast, delivering extra distance from the bank without sacrificing the tight, enticing wobble on the retrieve. Built-in rattles add an acoustic dimension that triggers reaction strikes in coloured or low-visibility water — a genuine advantage when fish are not actively feeding on sight alone.
