The FTM GR8 Line in Aqua is a smooth, durable eight-carrier braided line built for spin fishing, equally at home in fresh and salt water.
The eight-carrier (GR8 — eight-carrier braid) construction produces a noticeably round, compact profile that glides through rod guides with minimal friction. The result is consistently longer casts and a more direct feel between lure and hand — an edge that matters when you're working wide rivers, big lakes, or open coastal marks.
A dedicated surface sealing added during manufacture locks the braid tight and protects individual fibres from wear against rocks, gravel, and structure. This keeps the line performing cast after cast without the fraying that shortens the life of lesser braids.
All GR8 Line Aqua spools come in 225 m and share the same eight-carrier construction and distinctive aqua/blue colour, which has proven especially easy to track during testing. Pick the diameter that matches your target species and rod rating:
