The stinger cord is made from a 7x7 stranded stainless steel wire leader, giving it excellent resistance against the razor-sharp teeth of pike. This construction stays flexible enough to follow the natural movement of the soft bait while reliably protecting against bite-offs.

Sharp, Stable Treble Hook for Hard Mouths

A robust, needle-sharp treble hook is mounted at the business end of the rig. It is designed to penetrate the hard mouths of predators like pike and zander with minimal force, improving hook-up rates even on tentative takes or short strikes to the flank of the lure.

The Shirasu Stainless Steel Stinger Rig is available in three hook sizes to match your soft bait length and target species. Select by soft bait size and hook gap needed:

• Size 8 — transport length 3.5 cm; suited to smaller soft baits (7–10 cm); ideal for zander and perch

• Size 6 — transport length 5.5 cm; suited to medium soft baits (10–14 cm); versatile choice for both zander and pike

• Size 4 — transport length 7.5 cm; suited to larger soft baits (14 cm+); primarily for pike
