Balzer Shirasu Jigheads - Jighaken
incl. VAT, excl.
The Balzer Shirasu Jig Heads are reliable, workhorse lead heads designed for softbait fishing on predators in rivers and lakes. Paired with rubber fish, grubs, or shads, they deliver consistent hook-sets and secure bait hold cast after cast.
The extra-sharp jig hook combined with a wide hook gap ensures the point finds purchase quickly and deeply in a predator's mouth. The hook is built tough enough to handle the pressure of a hard-fighting pike or large zander without bending or breaking under load.
A small keeper barb (wire retainer) on the lead head grips the nose of the softbait firmly, even during powerful casts or aggressive jigging strokes. This keeps the lure running true on the retrieve and reduces re-rigging time on the water.
The Shirasu Jig Head range covers a broad spread of weights and hook sizes to match different softbait lengths, depths, and target species. Lighter heads suit finesse presentations in shallow or slow water; heavier heads get down fast in current or deep venues.
