Free-Sliding Weight for Natural Action

Unlike a Texas or Carolina rig, the lead weight runs freely on the line rather than being fixed above the hook. This means the soft bait sinks and moves independently, giving it a lifelike, unhindered flutter on the drop that triggers reaction bites from cautious fish.

Low-Vis Fluorocarbon Construction

The 45 cm leader is tied from 0.25 mm fluorocarbon — a material that refracts light similarly to water, making it virtually invisible to fish in clear conditions. Fluorocarbon is also abrasion-resistant and sinks, keeping the rig close to the bottom where most predatory species hunt.
