REGIMENT IV Spin/Pilk 802 - 100-250g
incl. VAT, excl.
The Penn Regiment IV Spin/Pilk 802 with 100–250 g casting weight is built for extreme saltwater conditions: wreck fishing with heavy pilks, deep jigging, and targeting hard-fighting species where brute strength meets finesse.
The high modulus 30T carbon blank uses Penn's SLS3 (Super Light Strong Slim) assembly to deliver a thin, lightweight profile with exceptional lifting power. The fast action provides a sensitive tip to feel bottom contact and lure movement, backed by a robust mid-section that turns big cod, pollock, and coalfish away from structure.
Seaguide Aluminum Oxide guides resist corrosion and handle braided lines without groove wear, while the DPS reel seat locks your reel securely even under maximum drag. The split grip EVA handle reduces weight and offers direct blank contact for better vibration transmission during vertical jigging or casting heavy metal lures.
The Regiment IV Spin/Pilk series matches different depths, lure weights, and fishing styles:
REGIMENT IV 802 – 20–80 g (2.4 m, 250 g, bent butt): Shallow-water seabass, medium jigs, light pilking over reefs
REGIMENT IV 802 – 50–150 g (2.4 m, 300 g, bent butt): All-round wreck and reef fishing, mid-weight pilks and shads
REGIMENT IV 802 – 100–250 g (2.4 m, 320 g, split grip): Deep-water wreck fishing, heavy pilks, strong currents, large cod and ling
REGIMENT IV 902 – 40–120 g (2.7 m, 300 g): Extended casting range for shore jigging and lighter boat work
REGIMENT IV 1002 – 20–70 g (3.04 m, 310 g, full grip): Long-distance casting for seabass and lighter lure presentations
