Choose the 802 100-250g for this use. Its 100–250 g rating covers the heaviest pirks in this family, with a 2.40 m blank and powerful backbone for cod, coalfish and ling.
The 3.04 m 1002 20-70g is the longest version and supports long casts with pirks and soft lures. Choose the 2.70 m 902 40-120g instead if you need the higher lure-weight range for shore or boat fishing.
All versions have two sections and come in cloth bags. Allow 127 cm for the 802 models, 141 cm for the 902 or 156 cm for the 1002 when choosing storage space.

The REGIMENT IV Spin/Pilk rods cover coastal lure and bait fishing for seabass through to heavy pirking in deep water and around wrecks. Their high-modulus 30T carbon blanks use SLS3 construction for a slim, lightweight build with strength under load.
A fast action combines a sensitive tip for lure control and bite feedback with a powerful backbone for setting hooks and fighting fish. Saltwater-proof SeaGuide aluminium oxide guides suit repeated marine use. Strong DPS reel seats hold the reel, while tapered, ergonomic high-density EVA handles provide a secure grip.
The 802 20-80g is 2.40 m long and weighs 250 g. It suits light to medium pirking near the coast for seabass, pollack and cod. The 802 50-150g keeps the same length but weighs 300 g and covers medium-heavy pirking with pirks and soft lures in the North Sea, Baltic Sea and Scandinavian waters. The 802 100-250g weighs 320 g and is intended for heavy pirks in deep water for cod, coalfish and ling.
The 902 40-120g is 2.70 m long and weighs 300 g, offering extra reach for medium spinning and pirking from shore or boat. The 1002 20-70g is 3.04 m long and weighs 310 g. Its longer blank supports long casts with medium pirks and soft lures for seabass, coalfish and cod in coastal and moderately deep water. Choose the longer versions for reach, or the 2.40 m versions for their respective lure-weight ranges rather than length alone.
All five rods have two sections and are supplied in cloth bags. The 802 models pack down to 127 cm, the 902 to 141 cm and the 1002 to 156 cm. The 802 20-80g and 50-150g have seven guides including the tip, the 802 100-250g has six, and the 902 and 1002 have eight. All are silver.
