The Balzer Electronic Carp/Zander Float with side-run guide is a battery-powered illuminated float designed for night sessions targeting carp and zander. Swap single-use glow sticks for a reliable, switchable light source you can use again and again.
Unlike snap-light (chemical glow stick) floats that get thrown away still glowing after a session, this electronic float switches on at the start of your night and off at the end. Powered by a single CR 425 / 3V stick battery (not included), it delivers approximately 45 hours of runtime — enough for many sessions before you need to replace the battery.
The multicolor antenna glows brightly enough to pick out at distance across dark water, so you never lose sight of your float. Critically, the antenna is kept very slim, meaning a taking fish feels virtually no resistance through the float — essential when targeting wary carp or hesitant zander at night. The float body is crafted from wood, while the antenna and float foot are made from break-resistant fiberglass composite for durability.
