Williamson Kensaki Jig 170g — Fast descent, tight flutter

The Kensaki's asymmetrical knife-tip profile slices through water to reach depth quickly, then delivers a very tight horizontal flutter on the fall—ideal for slow-pitch jigging in mid to deep water.

Aggressive lift, tight flutter

Inline eyelets stabilise the jig during descent and amplify the fluttering action under slack line. Use a slow lift-and-fall retrieve to make the Kensaki dart upwards aggressively, followed by a compact, horizontal flutter that triggers strikes from suspended predators.

Slow-pitch workhorse for many species

The 170 g weight suits depths from 40 to 100+ metres, making it effective for amberjack, grouper, snapper, tuna and other mid-water species. The asymmetrical design keeps the jig oriented correctly throughout the drop, even in current.

The Kensaki jig is available in three weights and seven colours to match depth, current and baitfish:

• 120 g (13.3 cm) – shallower water (20–60 m), lighter current, smaller pelagics

• 170 g (15.2 cm) – mid-range depth (40–100 m), moderate current, medium to large predators

• 220 g (17.1 cm) – deep water (80–150+ m), strong current, large amberjack, grouper, tuna

• BL (Blue) – clear water, sunny conditions

• CB (Chrome Blue) – all-round reflective, imitates sardine and mackerel
