The Kensaki is a slow-pitch jig engineered to reach depth fast and trigger strikes with a horizontal flutter that predators can't resist.
The asymmetrical knife-tip design slices through the water column, letting you drop the jig quickly to the strike zone. Inline eyelets stabilize the Kensaki during descent and amplify the tight fluttering action under slack line. Use a slow-pitch lift-and-fall technique: the jig darts upward aggressively on the lift, then transitions into a very tight, horizontal flutter on the drop—an irresistible profile for grouper, amberjack, tuna, and other deep-dwelling predators.
The Kensaki 220g comes rigged with two VMC assist hooks, sharp out of the package and positioned for solid hook-ups. The robust construction and inline-eyelet design handle hard strikes and heavy fish without compromising the jig's action.
