The FTM Floating Trout Paste (Forellenteig) in the Garlic/Cadaver scent is a buoyant, highly workable bait paste designed for trout anglers who rely on intense, penetrating aromas to draw fish in freshwater environments.
The Garlic/Cadaver combination is one of the most recognised attractor scents in trout paste fishing. It disperses steadily through the water column, creating a scent trail that draws trout toward the bait — effective whether you are fishing a still setup or working the bait actively through the swim.
The paste floats, keeping your bait visible and off the bottom where trout are actively feeding. Its soft, pliable consistency lets you quickly mould it into a ball for passive float or leger rigs — conceal the hook so only the point shows at the edge of the ball, using hook sizes 6–8. For active retrieval, shape it into a spinner or propeller form so it rotates on the retrieve; hook sizes 4–6 work well here for maximum action.
