Intense Scent Attracts Stillwater Trout

The Garlic/Cadaver scent combination is one of the most persistent and far-reaching attractant profiles available in trout paste. It disperses steadily through still water, creating a scent trail that draws trout from a distance and holds them at the bait. This makes it particularly productive on harder-pressured still-water venues where trout have seen plenty of neutral or mild baits.

Floating Formula Works Passive and Active

The buoyant formula gives you genuine fishing flexibility. For passive methods, roll the paste into a ball around a size 6–8 hook, leaving the hook point just proud of the surface — the paste sits up off the bottom and stays visible. For an active retrieve, shape it into a spinner or propeller form around a size 4–6 hook so it rotates on the way in, triggering reaction strikes. The paste holds its shape and stays on the hook through both approaches.
