It was developed for pike and is intended for spinning for pike and other predators. Its eight-strand round braid supports long casts and runs quietly through the guides, making it relevant to cast-and-retrieve lure fishing.
They differ in diameter and stated breaking strain: 0.13 mm/9 kg, 0.15 mm/10 kg, 0.18 mm/14 kg, 0.20 mm/18 kg and 0.22 mm/20 kg. Choose between a smaller diameter and a higher stated breaking strain, with 0.18 mm/14 kg as the middle option. All are green eight-strand braid supplied in 150 m lengths.
The round braid supports long casts, and its low water absorption helps casting distance and bite detection. The line is supple without being too soft and passes quietly through the guides, so these shared handling properties remain the same whichever diameter you choose.

WFT TF8 Hecht is a green, eight-strand braided line developed for pike fishing and also intended for spinning for other predators. Its round braid runs quietly through the rod guides, while low water absorption supports casting distance and bite detection. Every version comes with 150 m of line.
The eight-strand construction gives the TF8 a supple feel without making it too soft. The round weave supports long casts, useful when covering water with lures.
The supplier reports good colour stability, knot strength and abrasion resistance. These properties matter during repeated use, at tied connections and where the line encounters abrasive surfaces. All five versions share the same green colour and construction.
The options are 0.13 mm with 9 kg breaking strain, 0.15 mm with 10 kg, 0.18 mm with 14 kg, 0.20 mm with 18 kg and 0.22 mm with 20 kg. Choose 0.13 mm or 0.15 mm if lower diameter is your priority. The 0.18 mm version offers an intermediate diameter and strength, while 0.20 mm and 0.22 mm provide the higher stated breaking strains. Within this family, gaining breaking strain means accepting a larger diameter. The supplied length stays at 150 m whichever diameter you select.
