Choose from 0.14mm / 19kg, 0.16mm / 22kg, 0.18mm / 24kg, 0.22mm / 29kg and 0.26mm / 34kg. Higher stated breaking strain comes with a larger diameter. All options are yellow and contain 600m, so select the strength and diameter suited to your setup.
Yes. KG 8 is suitable for both, with spinning for zander and pike and pirking for cod explicitly named as uses. Its knot strength and abrasion resistance also suit rivers with strong currents and rock banks, and rocky sea ground, so the family covers both predator lure fishing and sea fishing.
Yes. The main line is suitable for fixed-spool spinning reels and baitcasting multiplier reels. Each variant contains 600m, so compare the selected diameter with your reel's line capacity when planning how much line to spool.
The tight eight-strand braid runs almost silently through the rod guides and supports long, accurate casts. This makes it useful for lure fishing when casting distance and precise placement matter.

WFT KG 8 is a yellow braided main line for lure fishing in freshwater and saltwater. Its tight eight-strand braid runs almost silently through the rod guides and supports long, accurate casts. It can be used with both fixed-spool spinning reels and baitcasting multiplier reels.
The line is suitable for spinning for zander and pike, as well as pirking for cod. High breaking strain, knot strength and abrasion resistance make it suitable for rivers with strong currents, obstacles and rock banks, and for sea fishing over rocky ground. These properties matter where the line is exposed to demanding conditions and contact with hard surfaces.
All five variants have the same yellow colour, eight-strand construction and 600m length. The available diameter and breaking-strain pairs are 0.14mm / 19kg, 0.16mm / 22kg, 0.18mm / 24kg, 0.22mm / 29kg and 0.26mm / 34kg. The 0.14mm version is the thinnest and has the lowest stated breaking strain, followed by the three intermediate options. The 0.26mm version has the highest stated breaking strain but also the largest diameter. Choose the pair that meets your setup's line-strength requirement rather than choosing by diameter alone. No different species or technique is specified for individual diameters.
Each selected variant contains 600m of braided line, so diameter and breaking strain, not length or colour, determine the choice within this family.
