The WFT 8 Rocks KG Line is an 8-carrier round braid engineered for demanding spin and soft-lure fishing in the most abrasive environments — think boulder-strewn rivers, hard structure, and heavy current.
Constructed from 8 Japanese High Modulus UHMPE (Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene) carriers, the Rocks KG combines a specialised braiding technique with a dedicated coating system that shields the line against rocks, gravel, and snags. The result is noticeably longer service life compared to standard braids, without sacrificing the smooth, supple feel that makes casting effortless.
Despite its robust build, this line casts long distances and absorbs virtually no water — keeping weight and drag to a minimum. The round-braid profile glides almost silently through rod guides, remains firm enough to beat side-wind, and delivers outstanding knot strength and colour stability. Low stretch ensures direct, undistorted bite detection, which is especially valuable when jigging hard bottom or working rubber lures at depth.
