Westin W8 Vertical Jigging 185cm M 14-28g Vertikalrute
incl. VAT, excl.
Built for anglers who demand balance, feel, and power in a single rod, the Westin W8 Vertical Jigging is a dedicated tool for targeting pike and zander with vertical jigging techniques.
The blank is crafted from High Performance Carbon, delivering an exceptional combination of low weight (100 g), high strength, and outstanding sensitivity. The fast action telegraphs even the lightest taps from cautious predators, while the backbone drives hooks home reliably. The blank is hand-painted with Fe₂O₃ iron oxide paint, giving each rod its own unique finish.
Fuji SiC (Silicon Carbide) guides, secured with ProWrap thread wrapping, ensure smooth line flow and long-term durability. The Fuji SKTS reel seat is hand-painted and the upper reel foot is screw-down locking, reinforced with 1K carbon fabric for a rock-solid hold. The handle section itself is further strengthened with quattro cross carbon banding. A fine-pored EVA grip and textured rubber end cap complete a handle that stays comfortable and secure even on cold, wet days.
This is the only current configuration of the W8 Vertical Jigging in the range. It is optimised for medium-weight presentations and pairs ideally with a mid-size fixed-spool reel for perfect balance.
