W8 SPIN 2ND 10'/300CM M 7-30G 2SEC

Built from the ground up for the dedicated seatrout angler, the W8 Spin 2nd combines ultra-premium blanks with top-tier hardware to deliver a rod that is light in hand, razor-sensitive, and tough enough for coastal conditions.
The blank is woven from two of Toray's most advanced carbon fibres — Torayca T1100GC for outstanding tensile strength and M40JB for high modulus stiffness — resulting in a responsive, lightweight construction that transmits the lightest takes without sacrificing the backbone needed to land hard-fighting seatrout. Every blank is individually strength-tested before leaving the factory.
Tangle-free Fuji SIC (Silicon Carbide) guides protect your line and allow smooth, distance-maximising casts. The Fuji T2C carbon reel seat is rigid yet lightweight, keeping overall rod weight to just 147 g at 3 m. AAAA-grade cork handles deliver a warm, traditional feel with excellent grip in wet conditions. A 360° custom screw-down carbon hood, Seaguide Arc Hook 2.5 keeper, and an iron-oxide (FE2O3) blank finish round out a package that is as refined in detail as it is in performance.
The W8 Spin 2nd is available in five lengths and power classes to match your preferred fishing style, species target, and lure weight:
8'1" / 2.43 m · ML · 5–25 g · 115 g — Short, agile rod ideal for rivers, narrow estuaries, and lighter lures; well-suited to smaller seatrout and light spinning
9' / 2.70 m · ML · 5–25 g · 130 g — Versatile mid-length ML rod for beaches and open flats with lighter lures; great all-rounder for seatrout in calmer conditions
9'2" / 2.75 m · M · 7–30 g · 140 g — Similar power to the 10' but in a more compact format; good balance of casting range and transportability
10' / 3.00 m · M · 7–30 g · 147 g — The current model. Extra length for maximum casting distance from surf, breakwaters, and open beaches; covers the 7–30 g lure range preferred by most seatrout anglers; pairs with a 2500–4000 size spinning reel
10'2" / 3.05 m · MH · 10–40 g · 160 g — Heaviest power for big lures, strong currents, and targeting larger predators alongside seatrout
