Westin recommends a size 200 Westin baitcasting reel for both versions. Both use a Fuji KSKSS16/ASH reel seat and are baitcasting rods, so choose a baitcaster setup rather than a fixed-spool spinning reel.
Both rods have two sections. The 193 cm version has a transport length of 100 cm, while the 198 cm version measures 103 cm packed down. Check these lengths against your rod bag or storage space before choosing.

The 193 cm XH version is rated for 28–84 g. It is the shorter option and covers the lighter end of the family’s lure-weight range. The 198 cm 2XH version is rated for 36–112 g, giving you 5 cm more length and a higher upper weight limit for heavier presentations. Choose by the weight you intend to fish, as the 2XH version also starts at a higher minimum. Both have two sections and a supplier-listed net weight of 130 g. Their transport lengths are 100 cm for the 193 cm rod and 103 cm for the 198 cm rod, useful dimensions to check against your rod bag and boat storage.
Westin’s 3C carbon handle (Close Contact Carbon) is designed to provide a firm grip and greater control during the fight. Westin recommends pairing these rods with a size 200 Westin baitcasting reel. The Fuji KSKSS16/ASH reel seat holds the reel, so this is a baitcasting setup rather than a fixed-spool spinning setup.
Fuji® SiC guides provide the line’s path along the blank. A Seaguide® TiDHOOK#4 hook keeper gives you a dedicated place to secure the hook between fishing spots.
