Both sizes accommodate standard 36 x 23 cm lure boxes. There is room for other tackle alongside several large boxes, so choose the bag size by the total storage capacity you need rather than a different box footprint.
M offers 40L at 39 cm long and 0.84 kg net weight. L offers 60L at 54 cm long and 1.1 kg net weight. Both are 38 cm wide. M saves length and weight, while L provides 20L more capacity.
The bag is described as water resistant, with a waterproof TPU coating and a water-repellent YKK® zipper. Full waterproof protection is not stated. Westin accepts no responsibility for improper use or damaged electronics and does not replace damaged electronics, so it is not a guaranteed waterproof electronics case.
Both sizes have a carry handle and a removable padded shoulder strap, allowing hand or shoulder carrying. The inner walls fold up to reduce the empty bag's size, so it takes up less storage space between trips.

The Westin W6 Boat Lurebag is a water-resistant tackle bag for lure fishing from a boat. It accommodates standard 36 x 23 cm (14 x 9.1 inch) lure boxes, with room for other tackle alongside several large boxes. An internal mesh pocket in the top cover, secured by a YKK® zipper, keeps smaller items separate from the main load.
Both sizes come in SILVER/GREY and accept the same standard lure-box footprint. The M version holds 40L, measures 39 cm in length and 38 cm in width, and has a net weight of 0.84 kg. The L version holds 60L, measures 54 cm in length and 38 cm in width, and has a net weight of 1.1 kg. Choose M for the shorter, lighter bag or L when extra capacity matters more than its greater length and weight.
The construction combines 420D nylon and 600D Oxford fabric with a waterproof TPU coating. The grey fabric is 100% nylon and the black fabric is 100% polyester. The bag has a water-repellent YKK® zipper and UTX-FLEX® buckles. These details help protect tackle from water during boat use, but the supplier describes the complete bag as water resistant, not fully waterproof.
Westin accepts no responsibility for improper use or damaged electronics and does not replace damaged electronics. Do not treat the coating as a guarantee of protection for electronic equipment.
A carry handle and removable padded shoulder strap offer hand or shoulder carrying. The carry straps are 100% polypropylene. Internal fold-up walls reduce the bag's size when empty, making it less bulky to store between trips. The supplier specifies 100% polyethylene interior material for L, while M has a 100% polyester lining and 100% polyethylene padding.
