Choose H for lures weighing 30–80 g or XH for 50–120 g. Both are 221 cm long and two-piece, so lure weight is the key difference. H covers the lighter 30–50 g range, while XH extends the upper limit to 120 g.
They are designed primarily for freshwater pike fishing with medium to heavy hardbaits, gliders, spinnerbaits and soft lures. Zander is also a listed target. Match the lure weight to the H or XH rating before choosing your version.
Use a baitcasting reel. Westin specifically recommends a size 200 Westin baitcaster, and both versions have a Fuji KSKSS16/ASH reel seat. This is a baitcasting setup rather than a fixed-spool spinning setup.
The medium-fast action combines sensitive feedback with hook-setting power. The Torayca® blank and full-carbon 3C handle support direct lure contact, helping you follow the retrieve without restricting the lure's swimming action.
Both 221 cm rods split into two sections with a transport length of 114 cm. Allow that length in your rod storage. The Seaguide® TiDHOOK#4 hook keeper lets you secure the hook when moving between spots.

The Westin W6 Jerk & Swimbait-T 2nd Generation baitcasting rods are designed for freshwater pike fishing with medium to heavy artificial lures. Torayca® carbon layer technology and the full-carbon 3C handle combine strength with low weight. Their medium-fast action gives sensitive lure feedback and power for setting the hook without restricting the lure's swimming action.
Use these rods with hardbaits, gliders, spinnerbaits and soft lures within the chosen casting-weight range. The Jerk & Swimbait-T design suits jerkbait and swimbait fishing for pike, with zander also listed as a target species. Lakes, reservoirs and large rivers are supported freshwater settings. Direct lure contact helps you follow the retrieve and respond to takes.
Both versions are 221 cm long and have two sections. The H version is rated for 30–80 g, so it covers lighter lures than the XH version. Choose XH, rated for 50–120 g, when your lures exceed 80 g. Their ranges overlap from 50 to 80 g, but XH does not cover the H version's 30–50 g range. Both have a supplier-listed net weight of 140 g.
The 40T+T1100 Torayca® High Performance Carbon blank provides the rod's strength, while the Westin 3C (Close Contact Carbon) handle supports direct feedback during lure work.
