These freshwater spinning rods are designed for soft lures, finesse jigs and lightweight presentations for perch, zander and bass. The responsive 40T+T1100 Torayca® High Performance Carbon blank combines fast action with bite detection and hook-setting power, helping you control the lure and respond to contact.
The moulded Westin 3C carbon handle (Close Contact Carbon) provides an ergonomic, secure grip and supports sensitivity and comfort during precise lure work. The Fuji KSKSS16/ASH reel seat holds the reel, while lightweight Fuji® SiC guides support casting performance and durability. A Seaguide® TiDHOOK#4 hook keeper provides a point to secure the hook between presentations.
The 224 cm M version covers 4–28 g and weighs 120 g. It offers the lowest casting-weight range and shortest length in the family for lighter presentations. The 234 cm MH version covers 8–36 g and weighs 130 g. The 254 cm MH version has the same 8–36 g rating and weighs 140 g, giving you 20 cm more length than the shorter MH without increasing the lure-weight ceiling. Choose between the MH versions by the length you want to handle, not by casting weight.
All three rods have two sections. Transport lengths are 116 cm for the 224 cm rod, 121 cm for the 234 cm rod and 131 cm for the 254 cm rod. The longer MH therefore needs more storage space even when taken apart.
