These second-generation, four-piece spinning rods suit sea trout, trout and sea bass fishing while wading, from the bank or from a boat. Their compact transport format makes them practical travel rods, with a 7–30 g casting range and M power in both lengths.
Upgraded Torayca® fibres and resin combine with a revised blank construction for improved response, sensitivity and casting distance. The progressive Medium/Fast action cushions head shakes and jumps during the fight. The blank is reinforced with 1K woven carbon.
The premium cork handle retains the classic grip design. A rubber-coated Fuji® TVS reel seat provides the reel mounting point for use in changing weather. Tangle-free Seaguide® XOG guides with LS rings help reduce line tangles when casting. A D-ring hook keeper holds the hook between fishing spots, and fish measurement marks on the blank provide an on-rod length reference.
The 270 cm version packs down to 75 cm, making it the more compact choice. The 300 cm version gives you 30 cm more rod length but needs 82 cm of transport space. Both have four sections, the same M power and 7–30 g casting rating, so choose by preferred working length and available luggage space rather than a different lure-weight range.
