They are designed for trout spinning in rivers and lakes with small spinners, spoons and soft lures. Their fast action and sensitive tips support accurate casting and light-bite detection, so choose a variant whose casting-weight range matches your lures.
ML covers 5–25 g, M covers 7–30 g and MH covers 10–40 g. Choose ML for the lowest stated lure weights and MH if you need the higher upper limit. A heavier rating also raises the minimum, so check both ends of the range rather than assuming every version suits the same small lures.
213 cm is available in ML, 244 cm in ML or MH, and 274 and 305 cm in M or MH. Choose the casting weight first, then compare the lengths available in that rating. The longer options need more transport space and have higher rod weights.
All variants have two sections. Transport lengths are 110 cm for the 213 cm rod, 125 cm for 244 cm, 141 cm for 274 cm and 156 cm for 305 cm. Check this length against your storage or vehicle space before choosing the longer models.
These seven two-section versions have cork handles. They also use a Carbon SKS-LS reel seat, Seaguide® TUXOLSG guides and a Seaguide® TUHOOK#4 hook keeper. The cork grip supports comfortable handling, and the keeper lets you secure the hook between casts.

The W3 Spin 3rd Generation spinning rods are designed for trout fishing in rivers and lakes with small spinners, spoons and soft lures. Lightweight Torayca® high-performance carbon blanks combine a fast, responsive action with sensitive tips for detecting light bites. A strong backbone supports secure hook-sets and control during the fight.
The ML (medium light) versions cover 5–25 g and are the lightest-rated options in this family. The M (medium) versions cover 7–30 g, while the MH (medium heavy) versions cover 10–40 g. Choose by your lure weight rather than length alone, since rods of the same length have different ratings. The higher-rated versions accommodate heavier lures, but their stated minimum casting weight also rises. Supplier information also describes perch fishing across the family and pike and zander applications on several variants.
All seven variants have two sections and cork handles. The 213 cm version has the shortest transport length at 110 cm. Longer versions offer more rod length, but need 125, 141 or 156 cm of transport space and weigh more. Select a length that fits your fishing space and transport arrangements, then check the casting-weight range.
Length | Power | Casting weight | Rod weight | Transport length |

244 cm | ML | 5–25 g | 152 g | 125 cm |
244 cm | MH | 10–40 g | 157 g | 125 cm |
274 cm | M | 7–30 g | 169 g | 141 cm |
274 cm | MH | 10–40 g | 180 g | 141 cm |
305 cm | M | 7–30 g | 188 g | 156 cm |
305 cm | MH | 10–40 g | 200 g | 156 cm |
The Carbon SKS-LS reel seat holds the reel, while Seaguide® TUXOLSG guides carry the line along the blank. The cork handle and balanced design support comfortable handling when repeatedly casting and retrieving. A Seaguide® TUHOOK#4 hook keeper provides a place to secure the hook between casts. The sensitive tip is useful for cautious bites, while the fast blank and strong backbone provide the response needed for hook-setting and fighting fish.
