The Westin W3 Sbass 3rd Generation spinning rods are designed for sea-bass lure fishing. Their lightweight Torayca® High Performance Carbon blanks combine a fast, responsive action with sensitivity and hook-setting power. They suit hard and soft lures, including crankbaits and soft plastics, for active fishing along the coast.
The fast blank supports controlled lure work and direct feedback when bites come. Alongside conventional casting, Westin also specifies flipping and pitching. The balanced construction and high-quality EVA grip are designed for comfort during repeated casts. The 274 cm version is also described for fishing from shore or boat and for jigging.
A Carbon VSS-EULM reel seat holds the reel, while Seaguide® TUXOLSG guides carry the line along the blank. The Seaguide® TUHOOK#4 hook keeper provides a place to secure the hook between casts or when moving. All three versions have two sections to reduce their length for transport.
The 264 cm version has medium power (M), a 9–35 g casting range and a rod weight of 134 g. It is the shortest and lightest option here and accommodates lighter lures than the other two. Its transport length is 136 cm.

It weighs 161 g and has a transport length of 156 cm, so it needs the most space when packed. Choose between the two MH versions by the rod length you want to handle and the transport space available.
