Choose them together to suit your setup. The range runs from 0.165 mm with 7.9 kg breaking strain to 0.45 mm with 41.1 kg. Thinner line needs less spool capacity for the same length, while the thicker versions offer higher stated strength. Check both values against your intended use.
All diameters are available on 300 m spools. Bulk spools contain 3000 m at 0.235–0.37 mm, or 2200 m at 0.405 mm and 0.45 mm. Choose the amount needed for your reel filling, as the same diameter retains the same breaking strain and PE rating across lengths.
It helps you see the line and track how much is out. Bright White, Smokey Grey, Orchid Purple, Lime Punch and Dutch Orange change every 10 m, giving you a distance reference when casting or jigging. The dyed, oven-cured and double-gel-coated segments are designed for lasting colour retention.
It helps reduce them rather than guaranteeing they cannot happen. Double Dura-Coating stiffens the line for casting into strong onshore winds, while the hydrophobic gel reduces water absorption and friction. These features support easier line handling and longer, more accurate casts.

Westin W3 Oceanic Swirl is an all-round, eight-strand braided fishing line developed for saltwater anglers. Its Marine Mix colour pattern changes every 10 m, making the line easier to see and helping you track how much line is out when casting, pilking or jigging.
The pattern cycles through Bright White, Smokey Grey, Orchid Purple, Lime Punch and Dutch Orange. Each segment is dyed in a tank, oven-cured and sealed with a double gel coat for lasting colour retention. The distinct segments provide a reference for distance and depth during sea fishing.
Japanese UHMPE (Ultra High Molecular Polyethylene) fibres form a round, eight-strand braid with 32 weaves per inch. This construction combines strength and abrasion resistance with a smooth surface. The round profile and low-friction finish support longer, more accurate casts.
Double Dura-Coating adds stiffness to help reduce wind knots, including when casting into strong onshore winds. The hydrophobic gel coating reduces water absorption and friction. It helps with casting and line handling, but does not guarantee knot-free fishing.
Every version has the same Marine Mix pattern and construction. The differences are diameter, breaking strain, PE rating and the amount of line on the spool. A thinner version takes less reel capacity at a given length, while the thicker versions offer higher stated breaking strains. Match these specifications to your setup and the amount of line you need.
Diameter | Breaking strain | PE rating | Available lengths |
|---|---|---|---|
0.165 mm | 7.9 kg | PE1.0 | 300 m |
0.205 mm | 10.1 kg | PE1.5 | 300 m |
0.235 mm | 12.3 kg | PE2.0 | 300 m or 3000 m |
0.26 mm | 16.5 kg | PE2.5 | 300 m or 3000 m |
0.285 mm | 19.4 kg | PE3.0 | 300 m or 3000 m |
0.305 mm | 22.1 kg | PE3.5 | 300 m or 3000 m |
0.33 mm | 23.2 kg | PE4.0 | 300 m or 3000 m |
0.37 mm | 34.6 kg | PE5.0 | 300 m or 3000 m |
0.405 mm | 38.7 kg | PE6.0 | 300 m or 2200 m |
0.45 mm | 41.1 kg | PE7.0 | 300 m or 2200 m |
Choose 300 m when that amount meets your reel's filling requirement. The 3000 m bulk spools provide more line at the listed intermediate diameters, while the 0.405 mm and 0.45 mm bulk versions contain 2200 m. Changing spool length at the same diameter does not change the stated breaking strain or PE rating.
Uses include coastal casting, pilking, vertical jigging and trolling. The line family is listed for cod, halibut and coalfish fishing, as well as tuna, marlin, giant trevally (GT), barracuda and swordfish. Choose the breaking strain required by your particular setup rather than treating every diameter as equally suitable for every species.
