It is designed for Texas and Carolina rigs in freshwater, including slowly dragging soft lures over structure and twitching them through vegetation. The sensitive Torayca® carbon blank gives bottom and bite feedback, while the crisp action supports hook-sets around cover when targeting perch, zander and bass.
Choose the 216 cm L for 2–10 g, either ML version for 5–15 g, or the 216 cm M for 7–21 g. The L covers the lightest presentations, while the M raises the upper limit to 21 g but starts at 7 g. Match that range to your intended presentation before choosing the length.
Both are two-piece rods rated for 5–15 g. The 216 cm ML weighs 114 g and has a transport length of 112 cm. The 229 cm ML weighs 122 g and packs down to 118 cm. Choose between the shorter, lighter option and the extra rod length without changing the casting-weight range.
All versions split into two sections. Allow 112 cm for any 216 cm version and 118 cm for the 229 cm ML. Check the available storage length against these packed dimensions rather than the assembled rod length.

The Westin W3 Finesse T&C 3rd Generation is a freshwater spinning rod designed for Texas and Carolina rigs. Its lightweight, responsive Torayca® high-performance carbon blank combines sensitivity with backbone, helping you distinguish bottom structure from tentative bites when fishing for wary perch, zander, bass and pike.
The blank gives feedback as you slowly drag soft lures over structure or twitch them through vegetation. Its crisp action supports firm hook-sets, particularly around cover and when targeting fish with tough mouths. Choose this family for controlled rig presentations rather than selecting solely by rod length.
All four versions have two sections. The 216 cm L version is rated for 2–10 g and weighs 108 g, making it the choice for the lightest presentations in this family. The 216 cm ML version covers 5–15 g and weighs 114 g. It gives you a higher casting-weight range at the same length.
The 229 cm ML version also covers 5–15 g and weighs 122 g. Choose it when you want a longer rod without changing the casting-weight rating, accepting the extra length and weight. The 216 cm M version covers 7–21 g and weighs 130 g. It handles the heaviest presentations in the family but has a higher minimum rating than the L and ML versions. Select the casting-weight range that matches your intended presentation.
The Carbon SKS-LS reel seat holds the reel, while EUKTLTSG guides carry the line along the blank. The high-quality EVA handle provides the gripping surface for lure control. A Seaguide® TUHOOK#4 hook keeper provides a place to secure the hook between presentations.
The two-piece 216 cm versions have a transport length of 112 cm. The 229 cm version packs down to 118 cm, so allow another 6 cm of storage space when choosing the longer ML rod.
