The Westin W3 DROPSHOT 3RD spinning rods are built for freshwater dropshot fishing from the bank, a boat or a belly boat. Their sensitive Torayca® carbon blanks and super-soft tips provide direct contact with the dropshot weight and soft lure, helping you detect cautious takes from perch, zander and pike. Both versions have ML (medium-light) power, a 5–25 g casting weight and two-piece construction.
The sensitive tip action suits light to medium dropshot weights, ultra-thin lines and light terminal tackle for wary predators. The butt and mid-section retain the backbone needed to set the hook and control larger fish, including when fishing at distance in rivers and lakes.
The Torayca® High Performance Carbon blank combines sensitivity with a light build. A Carbon SKS-LS reel seat holds the reel, while Seaguide® TUXOLSG guides carry the line along the blank.
