The double Dura-Coating adds stiffness and gives the braid a smoother, water-repellent surface that reduces water uptake and friction. This supports repeated casting in coastal wind, but the supplier describes wind-knot reduction, not a guarantee against knots.
Each variant contains 1500 m in one selected diameter. You can divide the supply into reel fillings according to spool capacity, but it does not include the other four strengths.

Westin W3 8-Braid Smokey Grey is an eight-strand braided fishing line for spinning, developed for sea trout and saltwater anglers. Its double Dura-Coating adds stiffness to help reduce wind knots during repeated casting into strong onshore wind. Each variant supplies 1500 m of line in the selected diameter.
Japanese UHMPE (Ultra High Molecular Polyethylene) fibres form a round, eight-strand braid with 32 weaves per inch. This construction combines durability and abrasion resistance with a smooth surface. The Dura-Coating gel process makes the surface smoother and water-repellent, reducing water uptake and friction during use.
The Smokey Grey line is soaked in dye tanks, then oven-cured to fix the pigments. A double gel coating seals the colour to improve its longevity. Colour retention is a stated feature of the line, not a claim that the colour will never fade.
All five variants share the same construction, colour and 1500 m length. The differences are diameter and stated breaking strain: 0.08 mm / 3 kg, 0.10 mm / 3.5 kg, 0.128 mm / 5 kg, 0.148 mm / 6.1 kg and 0.165 mm / 7.9 kg. The 0.08 mm version is the thinnest with the lowest breaking strain, while the 0.165 mm version offers the highest breaking strain at the largest diameter. The three intermediate sizes provide steps between these extremes. Choose the breaking strain your setup requires, then check the corresponding diameter against your reel's line capacity.
You receive 1500 m of line in one chosen diameter, not an assortment of all five strengths. The long supply lets you allocate line to reel fillings according to each spool's capacity.
