The Westin W2 Z-Hunter is a two-section spinning rod for zander fishing from bank or boat. The 2.45 m MH (medium-heavy) version casts 14–55 g and weighs 161 g. It offers the highest upper casting limit for heavier jigging and longer-range zander fishing, but its lower limit is higher than those of the other versions. Its transport length is 129 cm.
The 2.65 m MH version casts 10–42 g and weighs 168 g. It is intended for zander fishing over greater distances and offers the longest rod with a lower starting casting weight than the 2.45 m model. All three use a 24 / 30 tonne High Performance Carbon blank. A Seaguide XVS reel seat secures the reel, while Seaguide SXOHLSG premium guides direct the line.
