The W2 ULTRASTICK spinning rods combine medium-fast action with a light, sensitive blank for fishing from shore or boat in freshwater and saltwater. They suit hard and soft lures, spinners and spinnerbaits from 5 to 12 cm, with chatterbaits and crankbaits also supported. Match lure weight to the chosen version, not just lure length.
Both rods are 210 cm long and have two sections. The ML version covers 7–28 g and weighs 152 g, making it the choice for the lighter end of the range. The M version covers 10–40 g and weighs 155 g, accepting heavier lures but starting at a higher minimum weight. Their shared 10–28 g range lets you choose according to the other lures you intend to carry.
Both versions are described for perch, zander, pike, trout, asp and sea bass. The M version also lists flatfish, while the ML version lists mackerel. Choose within the respective casting-weight range for these applications.
The 24 / 30 tonne High Performance Carbon blank provides the light, sensitive basis for varied lure presentations. A split handle with premium EVA provides the gripping surfaces, complemented by a custom-made non-slip rubber bottom cap. The Seaguide® XVS reel seat holds the reel, and Seaguide® SXOHLSG premium guides carry the line along the blank.
