The W2 SBass Travel four-piece sea fishing rods are designed for spinning for sea bass from shore or boat. Their super-fast action supports long, accurate casts and efficient hook-setting, while the sensitive carbon blank transmits lure movement and contact with fish or cover in calm water and rough surf.
Both versions are 270 cm long and pack down to 77 cm. The M version casts 9–35 g and weighs 167 g, making it the choice for the lighter end of the range. The MH version casts 15–42 g and weighs 178 g. It accommodates heavier lures at the cost of 11 g more rod weight and a higher minimum casting weight. Choose according to the lures you intend to cast.
The 24 / 30 tonne High Performance Carbon blank combines sensitivity with responsive casting. Corrosion-resistant construction suits the saltwater environment. Seaguide® SXOHLSG premium guides guide the line, and the Seaguide® XVS reel seat holds the reel securely.
The split-handle uses premium-grade EVA for comfortable handling, complemented by a custom-made non-slip rubber bottom cap. Four sections reduce the packed length for travel, while the Seaguide® Dhook hook keeper provides a place to secure the lure during transport.
