All versions are designed for spoons, spinners and wobblers within 7–30 g. Changing length does not change this rating, so choose your length independently of lure weight within that range.
The 275 cm rod packs to 74 cm, compared with 82 cm for the 303 cm rod and 92 cm for the 340 cm rod. All have four sections, so choose the shortest version if minimum packed length matters most.

The W2 SPIN four-piece spinning rods cover freshwater and coastal fishing with spoons, spinners and wobblers. Their sensitive action transmits lure movement and subtle bites while providing power and good casting performance.
All three versions have M power and a 7–30 g casting range. Westin names sea trout, freshwater trout, salmon, perch, bass and zander as target fish. The supplementary supplier also lists garfish, sea bass and pike. Choose lures within the stated casting range rather than treating these rods as heavy-lure specialists.
The blank uses 24 / 30 tonne High Performance Carbon. Premium AAA-grade cork forms the handle, while the VSS screw-down reel seat secures the reel. Seaguide® SXQHRAG premium guides carry the line and the Seaguide® Dhook provides a hook keeper between fishing spots.
The 275 cm version has a stated net weight of 202 g and a transport length of 74 cm. It is the shortest and lightest choice for keeping packed size down. The 303 cm version weighs 211 g and packs to 82 cm, offering an intermediate length. The 340 cm version weighs 262 g and packs to 92 cm, giving the longest rod with the greatest weight and packed length. All retain the same casting range and four-piece construction, so the choice is length and portability rather than a different lure-weight rating. The divided construction suits travelling or keeping a rod in the car for spontaneous sessions.
