The W2 SBass sea fishing rods are designed for sea bass lure fishing from shore or boat, in calm water or rough surf. Their super-fast action supports long, accurate casts and efficient hook-setting. The sensitive 24 / 30 tonne High Performance Carbon blank transmits lure movement, bites and contact with underwater structure.
The 270 cm M version casts 9–35 g and weighs 155 g. It is the shorter, lighter option, with a transport length of 144 cm. The 285 cm M retains the 9–35 g rating while adding length, weighs 165 g and packs down to 152 cm.
The 285 cm MH version casts 12–42 g and weighs 184 g, with a transport length of 152 cm. Choose it for heavier lures and firmer lure control in surf or deeper current. Its higher casting range comes with more rod weight than either M version. All three rods have two sections.
Corrosion-resistant construction suits saltwater use. Seaguide® SXOHLSG premium guides manage the line, while the Seaguide® XVS reel seat secures the reel. The responsive blank maintains casting precision in challenging conditions and provides feedback when detecting light bites or changes in bottom contact.
The split handle uses premium EVA for a secure grip, complemented by a custom-made non-slip rubber bottom cap. A Seaguide® Dhook hook keeper holds the lure when moving between spots or transporting the rod.
