The W2 POWERSTRIKE spinning rods are built for hard and soft lures targeting pike and zander. Their fast action and powerful backbone support a firm hook-set, while the sensitive tip shows lure movement and delicate bites. This combination helps maintain contact when jerking and twitching hardbaits or working softbaits.
The 225 cm ML version covers 10–40 g for the lighter lure range in this family. The 218 cm MH version covers 40–100 g, trading 7 cm of length for a heavier lure rating. Their listed net weights are 194 g and 215 g respectively. Choose by the weight of the lures you intend to fish rather than length alone.
Both versions use a 24/30 tonne High Performance Carbon blank and a split handle with premium EVA for the gripping surfaces. The Seaguide® XVS reel seat holds the reel, and Seaguide® SXOHLSG premium guides route the line along the blank. A Seaguide® Dhook hook keeper provides a place to secure the hook between fishing spots.
