W2 POWERCAST TRAVEL 8'3"/248CM XXH 40-130G 4SEC
incl. VAT, excl.
The Westin W2 Powercast Travel (XXH, 40–130 g) is a four-section travel casting rod built for anglers who refuse to leave ambition at home. At 2.48 m it delivers full-length predator performance with a transport length of just 73 cm.
The progressive blank — built from 24/30 tonne High Performance Carbon — is engineered specifically to handle the heavy shads, lures, and spinnerbaits common in modern pike fishing. Instead of a stiff tip that jars your wrist on every cast, the progressive taper loads gradually, letting the rod do the work and keeping your arm fresh deep into a long session.
Seaguide® SXQLSG premium guides keep the line running freely and transmit vibration directly to your hand, so you feel every twitch of the lure, every weed stem and stone on the bottom. The Seaguide® XVS reel seat locks your reel securely without deadening sensitivity, while the premium EVA handle stays comfortable whether you're casting from a boat or wading a river bank.
All three W2 Powercast Travel rods share the same 2.48 m length, 73 cm transport length, progressive action, and 4-section design. The difference is casting weight — match it to your target species and lure range:
W2 Powercast Travel 2.48 m H 10–45 g — lighter lures, finesse pike tactics, perch and zander with smaller shads
W2 Powercast Travel 2.48 m XH 20–80 g — mid-range lures, all-round pike and zander fishing with medium shads and spinners
W2 Powercast Travel 2.48 m XXH 40–130 g — heavy lures, big-pike hunting with large shads, spinnerbaits, and heavy swimbaits; the current model
