The Westin W2 Powercast series is built for anglers who fish larger soft baits, spinnerbaits and other substantial lures for pike. Its progressive action helps reduce fatigue over a long session while still giving the direct feedback needed to track lure movement, bottom contact and cautious takes.
These rods are designed for active predator fishing from bank or boat where repeated casting with larger lures is part of the approach. The blank keeps enough reserve for solid hooksets and fish control, while the action stays forgiving enough to fish all day.
