The Westin W2 Finesse-T T&C is a casting rod for baitcasting reels, built for working Texas and Carolina rigs slowly along the bottom. Its fast, powerful yet sensitive and responsive action helps you feel the rig touch down and detect tentative bites. T&C stands for Texas and Carolina, but the range also covers other predator-lure techniques with hard and soft lures.
Drag or gently twitch Texas and Carolina rigs to maintain contact with the bottom. The rods also have the power to pitch small hard lures and the sensitivity for casting soft shads. Twitching hardbaits, jigging small softbaits and other finesse rigs extend their use beyond the two named rigs. The supplier identifies perch, bass, trout and zander as target species.
