The Westin W2 Finesse Ned spinning rods are designed for freshwater Ned-rig fishing. Their 24 / 30 tonne High Performance Carbon blanks combine a sensitive tip with backbone for setting the hook, helping you work softbaits precisely without giving up power when a fish takes.
Both versions are 2.18 m long and have two sections. The L version is rated for 3–15 g and weighs 106 g, making it the choice for lighter Ned-rig presentations and small softbaits. The M version covers 6–20 g and weighs 109 g. It accommodates heavier presentations for finesse fishing, including the supplier-stated use for perch and zander. Choose by the weight of your presentation, with the L offering the lower starting weight and the M the higher upper limit.
A Seaguide® XVS reel seat holds the reel, while Seaguide® SXOHLSG premium guides provide smooth line guidance during casting and retrieving. The split handle with premium-grade EVA offers a comfortable hold for fine lure control. A Seaguide® Dhook hook keeper secures the rig between fishing spots.
