No. It was designed for pelagic vertical fishing for large zander and pike, but was also tested successfully on a steady retrieve and jigged along the bottom. You can switch between these presentations rather than changing lure models.
Use gentle shakes and twitches. The jointed rear segments, large V-tail and flexible fins produce movement with very little input, so you can keep the presentation restrained on heavily fished waters.
Westin recommends a ShadTeez ScrewIn Head or a jighead of your choice, with an additional stinger for wary fish. The pack contains two softbaits, so select the head and any extra stinger separately for your chosen presentation.
Only the colour changes across these six versions. Each lure measures 20 cm and weighs 30 g, with two in each pack. Choose Black Mamba, Headlight, Baitfish Ghost, Hot Olive, Bass Orange or Light Baitfish without changing those specifications. No colour-specific conditions are stated.

The Westin Twinteeez Pelagic V-Tail is a softbait designed for pelagic vertical fishing for large zander and pike in freshwater. Two jointed segments in the lower back, a large V-tail and flexible fins respond to small movements, giving you baitfish-like action without working the lure aggressively.
Work the lure with gentle shakes and twitches. Its fins start moving with very little input, making a restrained presentation possible when fish are wary on heavily fished waters. Although developed for vertical pelagic fishing, it was also tested successfully on a steady retrieve and jigged along the bottom, so you can change presentation with the same lure.
Westin recommends a ShadTeez ScrewIn Head for a realistic presentation, or a jighead of your choice. An additional stinger is recommended for wary fish. These are rigging options, not included equipment, so choose the head and any extra stinger for your setup.
Large, realistic 3D eyes and lifelike fins support the baitfish appearance. The body also has an open gill design. Its flexibility is optimised to improve the hook-up ratio, while the softbait is free from toxic phthalates.
Choose from Black Mamba, Headlight, Baitfish Ghost, Hot Olive, Bass Orange and Light Baitfish. Every version is 20 cm long, weighs 30 g per lure and comes as two softbaits in the selected colour. The versions differ in colour, not length, weight or pack quantity. No colour-specific water or light conditions are specified, so select the pattern you want without changing the lure's size or presentation.
