Yes. Tommy The Trout Inline is supplied ready-rigged for casting or trolling for pike and musky, and the supplier also lists freshwater zander fishing. The Slow Sinking versions suit shallow water at slow to medium speeds, so choose the size and lure weight your tackle can handle.
The sizes are 15 cm / 45 g, 20 cm / 100 g, 30 cm / 330 g and 40 cm / 800 g. They start swimming at 2, 1.8, 1.5 and 1.5 km/h respectively. Choose by the trout profile and weight you want to fish, while keeping above the stated minimum swimming speed.
Yes. The extra wire eyelet under the chin accepts a Switch Weight for deeper presentations. All supplied versions are Slow Sinking, with no fixed running depth stated. Add the compatible weight when you need more depth, rather than choosing a size on the assumption that it has a specified diving depth.
Each pack contains one lure fitted with a Jointed Stinger HD with carbon steel hooks and a replaceable wire leader. The Westin release plug disengages on the strike and can be pushed back in before the next cast. A Switch Weight is not listed among the included components.
All four sizes come in Firetiger Trout, Ghost Trout, Headlight Deluxe Trout, Real Rainbow Trout and Real Trout. Each keeps the same Slow Sinking behaviour and inline rig. You can therefore select a different named pattern without changing the size or rig setup.

The Westin Tommy The Trout Inline is a ready-to-fish soft swimbait for casting or trolling for pike and trophy musky. Its trout-shaped body produces a realistic S-shaped swimming action even at low speeds. The Slow Sinking versions suit shallow water at slow to medium speeds, with an extra eyelet for adding weight when you want to fish deeper. The supplier also lists freshwater zander fishing as an application.
Use a steady retrieve for a swimming-trout presentation, or retrieve faster with pauses to imitate a wounded or panicking trout. The wire eyelet under the chin accepts a Switch Weight, so you can add weight quickly to reach deeper water. No fixed running depth is specified.
Each lure comes fitted with a Jointed Stinger HD carrying sharp, strong carbon steel hooks and a heavy-duty wire leader that can be swapped in seconds. The custom Westin release plug disengages on the strike. Push it back into place before the next cast. The swivel chain reduces leverage during the fight. Reinforced mesh joints support the articulated body, and the head section contains a hard foam core.
All four sizes are Slow Sinking. Size changes both the trout profile and the weight your tackle must handle. The 15 cm version at 45 g is the smallest and lightest, while the 20 cm version at 100 g offers a larger profile with more weight. The 30 cm version at 330 g and the 40 cm version at 800 g provide much larger presentations and require tackle suited to those lure weights.
The minimum speeds at which the lure starts swimming are:
15 cm / 45 g: 1.1 knots / 2 km/h.
20 cm / 100 g: 1 knot / 1.8 km/h.
30 cm / 330 g: 0.8 knots / 1.5 km/h.
40 cm / 800 g: 0.8 knots / 1.5 km/h.
Every size is available in Firetiger Trout, Ghost Trout, Headlight Deluxe Trout, Real Rainbow Trout and Real Trout. The body is based on a 3D scan, with high-resolution fish prints made from photographs of the scanned trout and hand-painted details. Choose the named pattern and size independently, without changing the shared rig or sinking behaviour.
The lure is lead-free and free from toxic phthalates. Each retail pack contains one lure, ready-rigged with the Jointed Stinger HD and wire leader. The extra chin eyelet provides Switch Weight compatibility, but an extra weight is not listed as included.
