Westin Stanley The Stickleback Shadtail is a soft plastic lure for predator fishing, including perch and pike, in freshwater and saltwater. Its shape comes from a 3D scan of a real stickleback, reproducing a small prey fish for jighead and dropshot presentations.
The very soft, flexible plastic supports the easy movement of the paddle tail. Together with the erratic swimming action, it gives the imitation movement as well as a lifelike shape. Active Eyes and hand-painted colour details complete the baitfish appearance.
Fish the lure on a light traditional jighead or a dropshot rig. Both mounting options are explicitly supported, so you can choose the presentation without changing lure models. The same body can be used in fresh or salt water.
Choose 5.5 cm at 1.5 g for the smallest prey profile, 7.5 cm at 4 g for the intermediate size, or 9 cm at 7 g for the largest profile in this line. Increasing the size also increases the lure's own weight. The 5.5 cm version contains four lures per pack, while the 7.5 cm and 9 cm versions contain three.
Each size is available in Stickleback, Baitfish Glitter, Seaweed Pearl, Motoroil Gold, Chartreuse Stickleback and Headlight. Clear Water Mix and Dark Water Mix provide named mix options.
