The Westin ShadTeez Hollow is a hollow-body softbait for spinning that combines an active paddle tail with a body that compresses easily on the take. It is built for perch and zander fishing, and keeps its action at both slow and faster retrieves.
The large air chamber in the belly lets the lure fold more easily when a fish bites. This can improve hook penetration compared with a firmer solid-body softbait.
Openings in the flanks let water move through the body and help create extra turbulence. Together with the mobile tail, this gives the lure a natural, tempting action even at low retrieve speed.
Slots in the back and belly allow offset hook rigging for fishing around cover. The lure can also be fished on a jighead or on a drop shot rig, which makes it useful for several softbait presentations.
