The Westin Sandy Andy Curltail Jig is built for sea spinning in cold, deep water, where cod, coalfish, and halibut often hold close to the bottom. Its sandeel-inspired profile and active curl tail keep working during the retrieve, on the lift, and on the drop.
The curl tail creates lively movement with relatively low water resistance, which helps the lure get down quickly and stay controllable in deeper areas and current. That makes it useful when fish are holding below the level where slower lures stay effective.
