SANDY ANDY JIG 32G 14CM ROBOCOD #4/0 1+2PCS
incl. VAT, excl.
At 14 cm and 32 g, the Sandy Andy (Sand Eel imitation) sits in the versatile mid-range of Westin's acclaimed jig series – heavy enough to punch through surf and tide, compact enough to draw strikes from seatrout and bass in shallower coastal marks.
The pre-moulded jighead is shaped like a real baitfish head, giving the lure a natural profile as it falls and swims. The single #4/0 hook is built in Japanese style – ultra-sharp and strong enough to handle hard-pulling cod and sea bass without straightening under pressure.
The soft body is designed to be swapped out when worn, so you keep fishing on the same weighted head rather than binning the whole lure. Active 3D eyes and durable, hand-painted Robo Cod colours – a natural grey-blue cod-pattern finish – add a level of realism that triggers reaction bites even on pressured fish. Works on a straight steady retrieve or a classic jig-and-sink cadence.
The Sandy Andy range spans six sizes and a wide palette of colours, covering everything from finesse seatrout work to deep-water cod and pollock fishing:
10 cm / 12 g / #1/0 – Ultra-light; ideal for seatrout, schoolie bass and mullet in shallow estuaries and surf
13 cm / 22 g / #3/0 – Light-to-medium; excellent all-rounder for inshore bass, seatrout and small pollock from rocks or kayak
14 cm / 32 g / #4/0 / Robo Cod – Mid-range; strong choice for cod, bass and seatrout in moderate tides and surf; the current product
15 cm / 42 g / #5/0 – Heavier mid-range; suits stronger tides, deeper marks and larger cod or pollock
17 cm / 62 g / #6/0 – Large profile; targeting big cod, pollock and ling from boats or deep rocky ledges
19 cm / 82 g / #7/0 – Heavy offshore; deep-water jigging for large cod, pollock and halibut
22 cm / 122 g / #8/0 – XL; vertical jigging in deep water and strong currents
23 cm / 150 g / #9/0 – Heavy vertical jigging; large predators in deep offshore marks
28 cm / 300 g / #10/0 – Maximum weight; extreme-depth jigging and big-game saltwater species
Colour choice: Robo Cod suits natural-light or clear-water conditions; Bluetooth, Headlight and Glowing Lipstick work well in low light or coloured water; Snow White and Pearl Sand shine on bright days over light-coloured seabeds; Tobis Ammo and Brown Abalone mimic common baitfish.
