The sizes are 10 cm at 14 g, 14 cm at 42 g and 18 cm at 85 g. The 10 cm option is the smallest and lightest, including for perch, while the larger versions offer more baitfish profile for bigger predators such as pike and zander. Choose the profile you want and check that your tackle suits its weight.
Yes. The short tail section supports a smooth glide, while the large paddle tail produces a fast, irregular movement even at a slow pace. Tight body rolling also flashes the flanks. You can vary the retrieve speed without relying on a fast retrieve to activate the tail.
Westin identifies casting and jigging for pike and zander. The additional supplier description also lists spinning and trolling for pike, zander and perch. Choose the lure size and weight for your intended presentation, but note that no hook size, specific rig or running depth is supplied.
Lively Roach, Headlight, Real Roach, Real Rudd, Redlight, Preyfish, Firetiger Rudd and Firetiger are listed at 10, 14 and 18 cm. Official Roach is listed only at 10 cm and 14 g. If you want Official Roach, choose that size, otherwise compare the three size and weight combinations in your preferred colour.
The Westin bulk listings specify 30 lures for 10 cm, 20 for 14 cm and 9 for 18 cm. Official Roach is listed as one lure. Compare the quantity as well as size and colour, because the single-lure variant and bulk boxes contain different amounts.

The Ricky The Roach Shadtail is a roach-shaped softbait for casting and jigging for pike and zander. Supplier information also identifies spinning and trolling for perch. Its flexible body and large paddle tail work at slow and fast retrieve speeds, so you can change the pace without losing the lure's action.
The short tail section lets the body glide smoothly, while the large paddle tail produces a fast, irregular action. The lure starts working as soon as it enters the water. Tight body rolling makes its flanks flash during the retrieve, adding a visible baitfish cue alongside the tail movement. Realistic eyes complete the roach profile. Westin describes the Shadtail colours as detailed and hand painted.
The listed variants pair 10 cm with 14 g, 14 cm with 42 g, and 18 cm with 85 g. Choose 10 cm for the smallest, lightest presentation in this selection, including perch fishing. The 14 cm option increases both profile and weight, while 18 cm gives the largest, heaviest presentation for bigger predators such as pike and zander. The larger profile also means a higher lure weight, so check the chosen weight against your tackle rather than selecting by length alone.
Lively Roach, Headlight, Real Roach, Real Rudd, Redlight, Preyfish, Firetiger Rudd and Firetiger are listed in all three sizes. Official Roach is listed at 10 cm and 14 g. These are distinct supplier colour names, not different lure actions. No colour-specific water conditions are stated, so select the finish you want without assuming a particular visibility or light requirement.
The Westin bulk variants are listed as boxes of 30 lures at 10 cm, 20 at 14 cm and 9 at 18 cm. The Official Roach variant is supplied as one lure. Check size, colour and quantity together when comparing variants. No hook size, rigging hardware or running depth is specified.
