It is designed for spinning with softbaits for pike and zander. The system mounts on the lure's back, so it is intended for a top-mounted softbait setup rather than a loose replacement treble hook.
Two spikes hold the system on the back of the softbait and release from it during a bite or fight. They secure the rig for fishing while allowing the hook system to separate from the lure body once a fish takes it.
Choose between 12.5 cm with #8, 16.5 cm with #6 and 20.5 cm with #6. Match the system length to the desired hook position on your softbait. The 12.5 cm version has the smaller hook, while the longer two differ in reach only. No specific matching lure lengths are supplied.
No, each version has a stated 22.7 kg strength rating and includes one stinger system with strong split rings and a sharp, strong treble hook. Select by length and hook size, not by strength or quantity.

The Westin Release Stinger Top Softlure is a stinger system for spinning with softbaits for pike and zander. Two spikes secure it to the back of the lure and release from the softbait during a bite or the fight, allowing the hook system to separate from the lure body.
The system mounts on top of the softbait. Strong split rings connect the components, and a sharp, strong treble hook provides the hooking point. Every version has a stated strength rating of 22.7 kg.
Three combinations are available: 12.5 cm with a size #8 treble, 16.5 cm with a size #6 treble, and 20.5 cm with a size #6 treble. Choose the system length to suit the hook position on your softbait. The shortest version also has the smaller hook, while the two longer versions offer different reach with the same hook size. The supplier does not specify matching lure lengths.
Each pack contains one stinger system in the selected length and hook size.
