It is intended for spinning and jigging with softbaits for pike and zander. Two treble hooks add hook points to the softbait, while two spikes secure the rig to its belly, so it is a rigging accessory rather than a complete lure.
Choose between 8 cm with #6 hooks, 12.5 cm with #6 and #4, or 16.5 cm with #4 and #2. All have a 22.7 kg strength rating, so choose by rig length and hook size to suit your softbait layout, not by strength. Matching lure lengths are not specified.
The two mounting spikes pull free of the softbait during a bite or the fight, letting the rig detach from the lure body. Each pack contains one selected rig with two treble hooks and two spikes, so the quoted quantity is one complete system, not one hook.

The Westin Release Stinger Belly Softlure is a belly-mounted stinger rig for spinning and jigging with softbaits for pike and zander. Two sharp, strong treble hooks provide extra hook points to help hooks take hold in a predator's hard mouth.
Two spikes secure the rig to the belly of the softbait. They pull free of the lure during a bite or the fight, allowing the rig to detach from the soft plastic. Strong split rings and a sturdy construction are designed to withstand fights with large pike. All three versions have a strength rating of 22.7 kg.
The variants differ in rig length and treble-hook size, not strength rating. Compare these dimensions with your softbait and the hook positions you want. The supplier does not specify matching lure lengths.
Rig length | Hook sizes |
|---|---|
8 cm | #6 |
12.5 cm | #6 and #4 |
16.5 cm | #4 and #2 |
The 8 cm version is the shortest rig. The 12.5 cm version provides greater rig length and a larger second hook, while the 16.5 cm version is the longest and has the largest hook pair. Choose by the required rig length and hook sizes rather than expecting a higher strength rating from a longer version.
Each pack contains one rig in the selected variant, with two treble hooks and two mounting spikes.
