It is designed for freshwater deadbait fishing for pike and zander, especially with the bait resting on the bottom. Only a light weight is needed to balance the sensitive float and hold the bait in place, making this its stated setup rather than a lure-fishing application.
Adjustable float weights can be slid onto the dedicated attachment to pre-load the float. This leaves its high-visibility tip standing above the water for precise bite indication even in wind, while you adjust the loading to your setup.
The 12 g buoyancy version is 12.5 cm long, while the 20 g version is 16.5 cm long. Choose the shorter, lower-rated float or the longer, higher-rated one according to your rig's buoyancy requirement. Each pack contains one float, and both versions offer adjustable pre-loading.
A fixed eyelet at the lower end provides waggler-style attachment. A metal sleeve reinforces the upper end of the tube and protects the line there, so the lower eyelet is the attachment point and the upper sleeve provides line protection.
