It is intended for trout and perch, with put-and-take trout ponds specifically highlighted. The insect-like body, fine hair fibres and scented oil provide a small, lifelike softbait option for these fish rather than a baitfish imitation.
Use tungsten hooks, a hook with a Cheburashka weight, trout blades or a bombarda float. You can twitch it, retrieve it steadily or present it passively on the bottom. Its material floats, but added rig components affect the complete setup, so choose the mounting to suit your intended presentation.
There are six two-tone colours, each with Banana or Garlic/Cheese scented oil. All retain the same 6.5 cm body, fine hair fibres and floating material. Choose the visual and scent combination you want to try, as the supplier does not specify different fishing conditions for individual colours or scents.
Each variant contains five lures, all 6.5 cm long and in the selected colour and scent. It is a single-variant multipack, so order different variants separately if you want to compare colours or scents.

The Westin Needle Bug is a 6.5 cm insect-imitation softbait for trout and perch, particularly suited to put-and-take trout ponds. Its slender, ribbed body, realistic antennae and fine, flowing hair fibres combine a bug-like profile with subtle movement. The super-soft, floating material supports both active retrieves and passive bottom presentations.
Twitch the lure, retrieve it steadily or fish it passively on the bottom. Compatible setups include tungsten hooks, a hook with a Cheburashka weight, trout blades and bombarda floats. These options let you change the presentation without changing the lure model. The material floats, but the complete rig's behaviour depends on the chosen setup. The material contains no toxic phthalates.
Choose from Baby Blue/Chartreuse, Baby Blue/White, Black/Chartreuse, Black/Yellow, Orange/White and Pink/White. The range features strong ultraviolet (UV) colours. Each colour is offered with either Banana or Garlic/Cheese scented oil, so you can change the colour or scent while retaining the same size, body design and buoyant material. Both oils are supplied as trout attractants, with no stated advantage for either scent in particular conditions.
Every variant contains five 6.5 cm lures in the selected colour and scent. The differences within this family are colour and scent, not lure length or pack quantity.
